The pants and shirts we wear all the time are Western clothes. On the other hand, hanbok has become something that is only worn on special occasions.

At the same time, I understand. It is not suitable for long and rich traditional Hanbok when commuting to and from work or going to and from school. There are many opinions that it is burdensome because it is inconvenient to do laundry as well as activities.

In order to create a 'Taegeukgi Fashion' that you want to wear every day, I completed the design by adding a design pattern that emphasized the 'Gongon Gamri' of the Taegeukgi.

The most loved elements of hanbok are the collar and sympathy. The shape that wraps around the neck in a Y-shape is unique and gives a unique look at a glance.

However, combining elements of hanbok such as sympathy and feathers with ready-made clothing requires high skill. Many brands have introduced casual wear in the form of 'only wearing traditional patterns' because the production cost is so high that it is burdensome.

It is not difficult simply because it takes a long time to make a feather.
Technicians who specialize in hanbok also say that it takes at least three years to make hundreds of jackets to properly shape the collar of a jeogori. It is the collar that determines the comfort and discomfort of the neck with an angle of only 1 degree and a fine curve. The most difficult part of hanbok and where technology is concentrated is the 'collar'.

The process of combining the hood and collar was not easy even for Lisle, who had 17 years of experience.
The ready-made hoodie is symmetrical with the zipper going up from the center, so the design of the neckline pattern is simple.
Because of the structurally different features of Western clothes, the hood was turned upside down and pulled, and the natural look did not come out.

Unlike the initial sample, the final version is pretty even when the zipper is opened.
I created a hooded zip-up that looks comfortable and beautiful even when the zipper is closed!

In the final design, the collar line is naturally caught like the picture on the right.

The collar of the hanbok man to man also added fidelity to the details.
The collar, which is made of the same fabric as the bodice, is designed to give it a nimble look with a finely tapered shape from the neck to the collar head. It is a difference in detail of 1cm.
I expressed the sympathy of Hanbok by intertwining the color matching fabric with 8mm thickness. It's only a few millimeters of thin lines, but the presence or absence of them makes a huge difference.

We selected the best materials for the weather in Korea, where spring and autumn are shortened and summer and winter are long.
I used a heavy terry fabric so that I could wear it all winter long because the sweatpants that are too thin can't be worn after October.

Tenta processing and washing processing are additionally applied, so shrinkage and deformation are significantly less even when worn for a long time and washed.

Not only did I use good materials, but I also paid attention to the sewing. The neck seam was treated with tape to prevent luxury and sagging, and sewed once more on the lip (shibori) to minimize deformation.

I can't say that there is no permanent deformation, but various processing and sewing methods are put in so that deformation is at least small.

I usually wear a size 105 for men. Size M could be worn without any problem, but it feels a bit disappointing. When I wore the L size, I felt that the shoulders and sleeves were comfortable, so I thought it would be better to choose L out of the two.
For men who wear a regular size 100, it is recommended to wear M, and for those who go back and forth between 100 and 105, I think it would be better to wear an L and wear it comfortably.
